Hello, I’m Laura Buffery-Martin a professional wedding and portrait photographer based on the North coast of Cornwall. I have a BA Hons in Fine Art Photography and have been photographing weddings for the last 10 years.
I move unobtrusively, enabling me to capture those natural, intimate and fleeting moments, in a style that is strongly influenced by my background in fine art and my documentary photography from my travels.
I use natural light as much as possible, keeping the images real and enabling a spontaneous fly on the wall approach. I do ask for a list of images for the Formal shots that you may require and will get these done in a structured, firm but friendly manner in as little time as possible.
My experience, confidence, instinctiveness and love of documenting the story of a wedding day as it unfolds, will always keep growing. Every wedding being so unique and special, holds a great responsibility, that for me is always an honour to be entrusted with.
I have been fortunate enough to be taken to some truly breath taking venues over the years, having documented over 150 weddings, covering Gloucester, Bristol, Dorset, Devon, The Isle of Wight and many of the hidden treasures within Cornwall. I can say I feel privileged to love and truly enjoy being part of such a rewarding, innovative and exciting profession.
