This isn't just a review, it is a love letter for Laura Buffery.
We were fortunate enough to come across Laura's work when viewing our wedding venue and our decision was instantly made. What we didn't quite grasp at the time was just how fortunate we'd been. We booked a belated 'engagement shoot' with Laura in the Spring before the wedding- more to help us relax than anything else- and instantly realised we'd struck gold. Laura is so personable, puts you right at ease, and helps you look natural even when you're posing.
On the day of the wedding she blended into the day seamlessly, managing to be everywhere and nowhere all at once. Our guests, hair and makeup team and the registrar kept commenting on how lovely she was, and how she moved around them without causing any interference.
The day after the wedding she delivered a highlights gallery that perfectly captured how we felt at each part of the day; with beautiful shots posed with just a couple of simple instructions and no cringing.
Having just had our full album back digitally I've given up on picking my favourites, and intend to just display them all in digital frames. We honestly couldn't be happier.
In summary- if Laura is available for your wedding please book her. You'll be so happy and your other vendors will also be thrilled. She'll make you smile and will genuinely smile along with you- making it seem like the most natural thing in the world to be stood outside in 2 degrees, in heels, in a forest/field or up a lane. Laura if you lived in Wales I think you'd instantly have another 50 bookings!
